The Spitting Spider lives in every continent but Antarctica. It can spit poison at its prey in the blink of an eye. Spitting spiders can be from 3-6 millimeters long. As you can see, it can be very small but also striving. The way it catches it's prey is by spitting poison at it's “lunch”. It has two glands on it's head for spitting the poison at the prey. The venom is really gummy and sticky. It makes the poison in its cephalothorax. After it spits on it’s prey, the next step is to bite the bug and paralyze it. The next thing you know, bon appetite!! The Spitting Spiders web is made like a squiggly line. It dispenses silk from its spinerettes to make its “dream home”. In conclusion, it is unique because it can be so interesting at times.
